Mama hormones are often off after a baby! Don't hesitate to get blood work done and get checked out. An anti-anxiety med to stabilize you for a bit is often helpful… I'm a therapist by the way.
Love this post! So glad the chicks are doing well; it's so infuriating what's happening with the USPS. We got our chicks, too, from the post office in 2022. It was so cool!
Is it too much to name them after dishes? I had a fit of the giggles the other day when I saw some content about a chicken name Cordon Bleu, and I started going through the possibilities - Marsala, Parmigiana, Fried Steak, Orange, Stew, Noodle Soup, General Tso’s, etc.
I know that anxiety. It seems to be a family trait for me/us and recognizing it helps. I remember my Grandmother getting 'flats' of chicks from the post office. We weren't allowed to play with them but could watch and listen to them scamper around, constantly chirping.
How about a "CH" litter. Cheeky, Chipper, Charlie, Charlene, Cherish, Chicklet, Checkers, Champion, Chucky,.....
Choochoo
I love ALL the sweet babies on your farm <3
I am so lucky to have such sweet babies!
Love the peep peep peeps! Thanks for the video!
Always! It would be mean of me not to share the cuteness!
Our dog was named Cleo after Cleopatra because of her natural eyeliner.
ohhhh love it!
Babies!! I bet winter AC will be grateful to spring AC for the fresh eggs.
Yes! I an hopeful this is a "future me will be glad I'm tired now" situation!

Good advice! Thank you!!
We named our chicks after food/spices - Peaches, Maize, Bergamot and Basmati :)

It is so cool that USPS can (or could) do this!
