Lots of eggs: angel food cake followed by custard made with double the yolks called for in the recipe. Never fails to please and soooo good!

We're mostly vegetarian and also I just like eggs so two things in regular rotation here ...

- Any type of frittata, most commonly made here with cheddar, mushrooms and spinach

- This egg fried rice recipe from Bon Appetit that seriously comes together as quickly as promised, a recipe rarity: https://www.bonappetit.com/recipe/broccoli-and-egg-fried-rice

Both work great with whatever you need to use up in the fridge or in the garden, too!

I love when egg season and mushroom season overlap in fall. Tomato season too (which is late out west but still yum!)
