My friend Spike (also a writer) lives on a ranch in Texas. She was doing crafts with a friend's 7-year-old daughter, and the little girl said, "Isn't this so satisfying?" It reminded me of your friend the crochet observer :)
I have several memories from a flight several years ago, sitting next to a 6 year old returning from Christmas with her Dad's new family. First, she told me 'everything,' shared her chocolate Santas, and when I pointed out we were above the clouds, asked if we were going to see God? I told her I didn't think so. She then wanted me to meet her Mom at baggage claim and introduced me as her 'new friend.' It was a great after-Christmas flight.
I decided a while ago that life is too short to not compliment random strangers, so I make a point if doing it now. I know it makes me feel good to get a compliment, so why would I not want to pass it on?
Jackson for President 🥰🥰🥰🥰 My son likes to watch me knit and two days ago made me a sign that said “Go Mom!,”so proud of my (completely plain as day) knitting was he. Yes please! Sign me up for a cheering section when I pour myself water, cut up a carrot, or craft. P.S. here for all the guineas!
YOU are a little bit of sunshine every Friday! Thank you.
